Clever Or Cunning

This poem is inspired by the famous words of Oscar Wilde :
'I am so clever that sometimes i don't understand a single word what I am saying."--Oscar Wilde

Am I clever
OR
Am I cunning ?
With these questions
Happened soul searching,

Understood not
The clever Wilde
Cause he was innocent
Like a child,
Would not stop 
Then and there
The pursuit of truth
Ends nowhere.

Cunning stops
Braids gillnet of  lies
Catching the fishes or
Dirty flies,
Acting wise, though 
Shutting his eyes,
Thinking wistful
Dies everyone, he survives..

(The gillnet catches fish which try to pass through it by snagging on the gill covers. Thus trapped, the fish can neither advance through the net nor retreat)

यह प्रस्तुति ओस्कर वाईल्ड के इस वाक्य से प्रेरित है : "मैं इतना निपुण हूँ कि कभी कभी स्वयं के कहे का एक शब्द भी नहीं समझता."

मैं हूँ एक निपुण ?
या 
हूँ मैं एक धूर्त ?
लिए संग 
ये ज्वलंत प्रश्न,
हुआ आरम्भ 
मुझ भ्रमित का 
आत्म संशोधन.

समझा था नहीं 
ओस्कर वाईल्ड निपुण,
बालक सम सुकोमलता से
था वो मनीषी परिपूर्ण,
रुकना नहीं था बन्धु 
वहां उसको,
सत्य कि शोध होती 
पूर्ण कहाँ 
यह ज्ञात किसको...

धूर्त किन्तु 
राह में जाता ठहर,
गूंथने जाल मिथ्या का 
प्रगाढ़ एवम अति प्रखर,
हेतु पकड़ने नन्ही बड़ी 
कुछ मछलियाँ 
ना फंसी तो 
फंस जाएगी मख्खियाँ,
बंद चक्षु 
अभिनय बुद्धिमान का,
चिंतन कुटिल 
सर्व मरण किन्तु 
निज विद्यमान का..
