Leaf-Cutter Ants
Maintain
Fungus gardens
For the food.

Some ants cut stalks,
Some carry the leaves to colony
Some chew the leaves
And others tend the fungus
How organized is the process.

Every creature grows old
So happens with ants
The old ones
Can not cut
Can not chew
For their teeth become dull
Their contribution to the team
Becomes minimal
The output of team adversely affected
Endangering the very survival.

So there are change of roles
The older ones would opt for hauling
The younger ones would cut and chew
The smaller one would tend the garden.


Leaf-Cutter ants are the
Most reputed farmers of
The world of insects
They really work hard,
In the most organized society
Of the ants
Each works according to will
Each works according to capacity
Thus they maintain their utility
At the old age
When they lose their teeth,
And also ensure
The survival of the colony.

पत्तियां काटनेवाली चींटियाँ 
रखा करती है 
बागीचे फंफूद के 
अपने भरण पोषण के लिए..

काटती है डंठल को 
कुछ चींटियाँ 
अन्य ले जाती है उन्हें 
अपनी बस्ती तक
कुछ और चबाती है पत्तियां 
अन्य बिछाती है उन्हें 
फंफूद उपजाने हेतु
एवम 
करती रहती है 
देखभाल उनकी.

प्रत्येक प्राणी 
होता है वृद्ध 
होता है ऐसा 
संग चींटियों के भी,
जो हो जाती हैं वृद्ध 
जब ये चींटिया 
काट नहीं सकती 
चबा नहीं सकती 
करण घिस जाते हैं 
दांत उनके,
अवदान टीम को उनका 
हो जाता है न्यूनतम,
होते हैं विपरितातम्क प्रभावित 
उत्पादन और उत्पादकता 
टीम के,
खड़ा हो जाता है 
एक खतरा 
विद्यमानता पर..

बदल जाती है 
भूमिकाएं 
पुरातन चुन लेते है 
स्वेच्छा से 
बस्ती तक 
पत्तियों को ढोना,
नूतन चुन लेते हैं 
काटना और चबाना,
जो हैं नन्हे,
सँभालते हैं वे 
बागीचा बस्ती का.

चींटिया पत्तियां काटनेवाली,
होती है कीट-संसार की
सर्वाधिक सम्मानित कृषक,
होती है वे बहुत परिश्रमी, 
है वह सर्वाधिक व्यवस्थित  
समाज चींटियों का,
प्रत्येक करती हैं कार्य निज मनोनुकूल 
प्रत्येक लेती है कार्य स्वक्षमतानुकूल,
इस प्रकार वे रखती है कायम
उपयोगिता अपनी वृद्धावस्था में भी,
एवम करती है सुनिश्चित 
विद्यमानता सबकी.
