Noun and Verb...

Asphalt roads,
Concrete-Cement buildings
Lives with these,
Today's man
Skyscrapers never grow
Roads remain same
Be it a day
Be it a night
Be it full moon night
Be it starlit dark night,
Just nouns 
Static phenomenon...

Feel the flowing river
With early rising sun
With the full moon
With sunset,
On it's bank
Sit alone or with a friend
Play flute
Dance,
Row a boat
Swim across....

Feel a tree
In the rains
In the summer
In the winter
Full of green leaves
Fruits and flowers blooming
Or just a stem 
With leafless branches
They are Verbs
Always in process
A symbol of continuity...

Be in love with
Flowing things
Moving things,
To have a different vision
Of life,
For that
Life is not a thing
But a process,
Not a noun but
A verb...

'संज्ञा' अथवा 'क्रिया'
# # #डामर की सड़कें
भवन कंक्रीट सीमेंट के 
रहा करता है ना
साथ इन्हीके
आज का आदमी,
नहीं बढ़ते रहते ये गगनचुम्बी
रहती है ये सड़कें वैसी ही 
दिन हो चाहे रात
हो चाहे रात चांदनी 
या कि  
तारों भरी रात अँधेरी,
है ये बस 'संज्ञा'
आभास स्थिरता का सा..

करो महसूस 
बहती नदिया को
भोर के सूर्योदय के संग
समय सूर्यास्त के
अथवा रात चांदनी में,
रह के देखो 
दरिया किनारे 
अकेले या संग मित्र के
बजाते हुए बांसुरी सुरीली 
करते हुए नृत्य मनमोहक,
खेते हुए नाव नदी में 
अथवा तैरते आर और पार..

करो महसूस 
पेड़ को 
बरसात में
गर्मी में
सर्दी में, 
हरे हरे पत्तों से भरे हुए,
फूलों और फलों से लदे हुए,
या एक देखते हुए तना एक 
बिना पत्तों की डालियाँ लिए,
 
हैं ये 'क्रियाएं'
एक शास्वत प्रक्रिया
प्रतीक निरंतरता की...

रहो प्रेम में
संग बहाव के
संग गतिमान के,
पाने हेतु 
जीवन का 
एक अलग ही निरूपण,
क्योंकि 
जीवन एक स्थिर वस्तु नहीं 
है वह एक प्रक्रिया,
नहीं है वह 'संज्ञा'
है वह एक 'क्रिया'
